Our Purpose
Mission Statement
In 2012 the Mazzilli family lost a very spirited, respected and family-oriented member to devastating lung cancer. The Fred L. Mazzilli Foundation was created by Freddy's close family members to raise awareness about the disease and to help provide free lung cancer screening through New York Presbyterian\Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. It is our mission through early detection to help others avoid the crushing effects on loved ones when diagnosed. This is our way of honoring Freddy's name and to create a lasting legacy to help others.
The Foundation
Our Passion
Our friend and family member, Freddy, lost his brave battle against Lung Cancer in September, 2012. We miss his vibrant personality and giving spirit every single day. In his memory, we established this foundation to help raise awareness and money to fund free screenings at New York Presbyterian\Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, in the hopes of saving others from this horrible disease.
Please help us celebrate the man he was by considering a tax deductible donation. We are a non-profit/tax exempt foundation.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
